The four units that we cover first will definitely focus on the entire Western hemisphere but as we get into unit 8, we will shift to solely United States history.
You will notice the units do not go in order, IB prescribes that we go in depth with three units which we do with units 6, 7, and 8. The other shorter units will help provide us context for these three units and help us understand how we got to those points in history.
